I had bought ICICI Pru Smart Kid policy for my elder son. ICICI Prudential Life Insurance made an internal error while changing the premium payment frequency to monthly. After three long years of follow ups ICICI Prudential Life Insurance accepted the mistake and promised to rectify.
As promised, in the email, after I pay the balance premiums ICICI Prudential Life Insurance will allocate the premiums pro rata and give the differential units. Next month I paid the balance premiums.

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance did not keep its promise. They did not allocate the differential units. I started to chase them like last time.

All my requests were falling on deaf ears. Since ICICI Smart Kid is a child plan, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance knows very well that it is an emotional investment. Irrespective of the service premiums of such policies are more consistent and without any hustle. Hence, they did not bother to allocate premiums and action any request from my side.
